If you have a pet cat/dog, would you set up a twitter account for him/her? If you do, the result can be that your pet has more followers than you do!

Sockington, aka "Sockamillion" or "Socks",  @sockington, is undoubtedly the most popular cat on Twitter! The number of his followers just hit a million in August 2009, though most of them are pet accounts themselves. His owner Jason Scott believes that only a small number are avid followers, a situation that he prefers.

The superstar cat says things like this,

"awwww yeah this is love at first crunch I THINK THE KIBBLE AND I ARE GOING STEADY"

On July 11th, Jason posted a note announcing that Sockington had been missing and that triggered the tremendous worldwide concern..But luckily he was found "wrapped in a curtain, completely spooked and terrified."
