Kaifu Lee(李开复) @kaifulee, the "former" president of Google Greater China, today announced his resignation from Google on his blog, then on twitter:

He actually tweeted the news in Chinese.

Kaifu Lee is also an active twitter user with 390,773 follower, quite a super star on twitter! He has a rather cute twitter persona too, see below:

There was a time when google was troubled by a CCTV report that Google related to some "vulgar" content. Very soon rumors spread out that Kaifu was sick and in hospital. So Kaifu made a clear statement on twitter:

Later, he made up a very funny nickname for Steve Jobs in one of his tweets:

"乔不死" should refer to Steve Jobs. In the upper tweet, Kaifu meant his sickness was much serious than a normal cold, but much better than Steve Job's.

On twitter you can always meet with an unexpected/undiscovered personality of public figures...I believe there are many anecdotes about these people. It's good that if they can unleash their true face on twitter!
